Construction of the South Mildura Wetlands & Monash Wetlands was undertaken by Capogreco Excavations for Mildura Rural City Council.

The purpose of constructing the Wetlands is to service future development in the area with a stormwater collection system that has sound hydraulic capacity while providing environmental benefits to the area.

Excavation of linear wetlands (170,000m3), reed beds, footpaths and flood plains graded to contour, installation of 1800NB RC pipes, headwall and weir construction.
